The first thing you should always do is check your borrowing capacity and credit file.
Once you have a budget your search becomes a lot easier and defines your requirements.

1. Confirmed borrowing capacity?

2. Found where you would like to live?

3. Found a House and Land Package?

4. Have you found the right home design?

5. Put preferred block on hold?

6. Secured your building contract?

If you require any information or advice just ask us.

Here are just a few questions you need to ask the land agents and builders.

 – Land Agents

Q) Are there any rebates available?

Q) Is the Land Titled?

Q) If not when will it be and do they foresee any issues that could cause a delay in titles?

Q) Are there any easements on the block

 – Builders

Q) What doesn’t the package include?

Q) What other items will I have to organise for the home to be 100% complete?

Q) What does the site works allowance include? Are items like soak wells or connection to a silt pit, crossovers, provisional sums for future price increases if it’s not tiled etc included?
